After over four and a half years of blogging, I’ve shared a wide selection of seasonal tables, napkin folds, decorations, wreaths, crafts, and activities that welcome spring and celebrate Easter.
Here in Pittsburgh, spring seldom really arrives before mid to late April. Even then, we’ve been known to have the occasional snowfall! There’s nothing worse than having to bundle up in a winter coat to go to church on Palm Sunday or Easter. And, since the holiday can occur between March 22 and April 25, there can be years we’ve barely finished enjoying Easy, Hearty Irish Stew for St. Patrick’s Day, before its time to regroup for Easter.
But this year, they are predicting warm weather for Easter, and the forsythia, bulbs, and flowering trees will be in blooming.
Today, I’ve assembled a roundup of 12 ways to celebrate Easter and change of seasons — all in one place! Simply click on a photo or title to see each post or DIY tutorial in their entirety.
Hoping one or more will inspire you!

With the holiday just several weeks away, I’ve pulled out my stuffed Easter bunny collection.
Its an simple way to decorate for the holiday and spring season, and makes for a quick transition from St. Patrick’s Day accents.
Displaying the bunnies and rabbits high up on the mantle in the family room, also keeps them safely out of reach of Whiskey, our Scottie puppy.
At that height off the floor — and his short stature — the collection isn’t even in Whiskey’s field of vision. A good thing, because like any rodent hunting Scottish Terrier, he loves chewing on stuffed animals and playing “shake and kill.” So far, he’s managed to rip through two of his toys, with a favorite teddy bear now minus an arm lol! Our first Scottie, Fibber MacGee, did the same.
That’s why I’ve never incorporated a stuffed bunny into any vignette or basket decor. As seen in my Easter Home Tour, many of those decorations sit on the floor, hearth or a coffee table. For those, I stick to rabbits made of resin, plaster or porcelain. However, since this year we have a puppy underfoot and no company coming, I’ve cut way back on my decorations.
So it’s nice to at least have my stuffed Easter bunny collection on display.

With Easter fast approaching, I’m showcasing my Beatrix Potter figurine collection of Peter Rabbit and friends.
There were three main producers of figurines; Beswick, Royal Albert, and Border Fine Arts. My collection of 18 porcelain figures were all made by Beswick.
In 1948, Beswick produced the original group of ten figurines from the author’s beloved series of children’s book. They proved quite popular, and by 1977 there were characters from all of Beatrix Potter’s tales.
Over 75 different porcelain figurines created in all. Each is based on Beatrix Potter’s classic, watercolor illustrations.
Today’s post is part of the Easter’s on Its Way blog hop hosted by Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home. Twenty-five in all! If you’ve come from my friend Rita’s uplifting Hope Springs Eternal post at Panoply, welcome!

Even though we won’t be able to celebrate in church or with guests, I’m going ahead and setting an Easter table anyway. What I’ll actually serve for brunch and dinner is still to be determined.
Who could have ever imagined a spring and Easter like this? But, under the circumstances, I think it’s important to celebrate the holiday as best we can. To cherish memories of Easters past, while being prayerful and hopeful that better days lay ahead.
With that in mind, I kept my Easter table simple; using things I had at hand. Since Pittsburgh has been under a mandatory stay at home order for quite awhile, I shopped my own home for seasonal tableware, linens, and decor.
Inspiration for the table theme comes from the rustic rabbit sculpture that anchors the centerpiece. And, I’ve used a sweet bunny napkin fold to add some whimsy to the pale yellow and pink Easter table.
Once again, I’m delighted to participate in the annual Easter Tablescape Hop hosted by Chloe of Celebrate & Decorate. I appreciate you hopping on over for a visit!

Spring has finally sprung and there’s a lively bunny hop table set for brunch in my kitchen. It’s time to celebrate the change in seasons and Easter week.
I am absolutely loving having the entire month of April to enjoy Easter holiday decorations and tables around the house. Not to mention the warmer weather and flowers blooming everywhere. A little case of spring allergies is worth the price!
Last weekend was spent visiting with family in Northern Virginia; during the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Hubby, his brother M, and our eldest son, ran the 10-mile race at the Capital. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful blooms around the Tidal Basin, as we cheered on the runners. Have you ever been to D.C. to see the cherry blossoms?
For those in the west and plain states who experienced a second winter cyclone; my heart goes out to you! Those winds looked ferocious. We feel quite fortunate that the weather was near perfect for our Breathtaking Breckenridge, Colorado Ski Trip.
Here in Pittsburgh, there are leaping, climbing and exercising hares aplenty on the bunny hop table. And, a few overly rambunctious rabbits landed cottontail-up in the cupcakes!

Forsythia, daffodils and hyacinth are starting to bloom in Pittsburgh and it’s finally starting to really feel like spring. Hurrah! A perfect time to take you on an Easter home decor tour.
Last year, Easter came so early, I never had a chance to share any of my holiday and seasonal decor. In fact, other than setting tables and hanging wreaths, I never pulled out any of the rabbits, chicks, eggs and florals that usually populate the house.
Today, I’m delighted to take part in the Hop into Easter blog hop. Hosted by Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home, there’s so much to see and be inspired by! You’re sure to find at least an idea or two to incorporate into your own Easter home decor and tables.
Welcome to Debbee’s Buzz for those dropping by from Carol’s How to Use Bunnies post at Bluesky at Home. And to my regular followers, thank you for once again taking the time to visit. I have so much stuff, it’s going to be impossible to cover it all in just one post! So, join me for a few highlights of my Easter home decor and table settings.
